# Priority Queue

*Alert-delivery priority is a planned MSIG staking benefit. The timing differences between stakers and non-stakers will be finalized when the live app is deployed, following performance testing and community feedback.*

Discord alert delivery is planned to be phased out, with all alerts delivered through the Meta Signals app. MSIG staking is designed to determine your position in the alert delivery queue. A larger share of the total staked supply gives you an earlier position in the delivery sequence.

### How it works <a href="#how-it-works" id="how-it-works"></a>

* Stake MSIG to receive alerts before users who do not stake.
* Your priority depends on your stake relative to the total MSIG staked by all participants.
* A larger proportion of the total staked supply places you earlier in the release sequence.

### Relative priority <a href="#relative-priority" id="relative-priority"></a>

Queue position depends on your share of the total stake, not just the number of tokens you hold. The mechanism is designed to connect staking participation with alert-delivery priority.
