# Trading Fee Discounts

MSIG staking is designed to unlock up to 50% off trading fees for eligible trades placed through the Meta Signals app on Hyperliquid.

### How it works <a href="#how-it-works" id="how-it-works"></a>

* Stake MSIG and meet the required staking threshold.
* Connect your Hyperliquid account to the Meta Signals app via API.
* Place trades through the app to receive the discount automatically.

### Eligibility and duration <a href="#eligibility-and-duration" id="eligibility-and-duration"></a>

The discount applies to trades placed through the Meta Signals app on Hyperliquid. It does not apply to trades placed on other exchanges or outside the Meta Signals app.

There is no cap on the number of eligible trades and no fixed expiry date for the benefit. Continued eligibility depends on meeting the required MSIG staking threshold.
